From Kerikeri, it is a nice day trip to visit the Ninety Mile Beach, Cape Reinga and the Lighthouse and the big sand dunes. Or choose to go west, visit the Hokianga harbour, the huge Kauri trees and the gum diggers towns.

Spectacular views can also be seen going north, towards Matauri Bay and the scenic drive past the Cavalli Islands.
