We have recently completed the development of New Zealand's first man-made natural swimming pool for our guests to enjoy at Avalon Resort.
With the support and hard work of Sandco and Palmco we have created a wonderful oasis to relax in a subtropical and natural setting where you can feel rest assured we do everything to minimise the effect on the environment.
Natural swimming pools are chemical free but use a filtration system and plant life to keep the spring fed water clean and safe for swimming.
You can relax on deck chairs beside the pool on the covered deck or amongst the palm trees for shade, have a sauna in our new dry sauna facility, then take a dip to cool off in the fresh clean water. You'll be amazed at this new concept swimming pool and you will depart Avalon feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
